RPC Cleaning Supports | Ban the pesticides that are killing bees| Sign the petition!

RPC Cleaning Services, family run, London based cleaning company  supports the ban on pesticides that are killing our bees.  We have signed the petition to ban the pesiticides that are killing bees and I strongly urge you to do the same.

Yes, they can be a pest in the summer months whilst out in the garden or park, but I still hear you ask WHY? …….Well our bees are in danger, three species of bees are already extinct and others are in rapid decline.  The following was explained to me and now I see the importance of banning this pesiticide that is destroying the bees.

  • Bees pollinate approx 80% of our flowering crops
  • About 1/3 of everything us humans eat such as apples, broccoli, strawberries, nuts, cucumbers  to name a few needs to be pollinated
  • Beef and Dairy farms may suffer if simple crops such as Lucerne is not pollinated – no food to feed the animals

Strong evidence points to particular pesticides being to blame for killing them. But the environment minister recently refused to support a European vote to stop the pesticides being used.
